Our Teachers
Here at I.C.A. we are proud that though public opinion is normally that private education facilities utilize uneducated or non-degreed staff – Our staff is more than 85% degreed. Our team is made up of those with Associates, Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate degrees. The entire staff is required to attend a yearly convention for training/refreshing purposes. They are also required to update all State of Florida requirements.
The Administration also lines up teacher training for CEU hours for all teachers or those finishing degrees. A portion of this is done online and also through FLOCS or A.C.E. training hours.
Our goal is to make sure that we are grounded in our roots – but, also competitive and relevant with new innovative processes of teaching. We want to serve the families of our community to the best of our ability keeping Christ at the center of all we do. The Administration of I.C.A. encourages team members to rest, revitalize, refresh, and renew with paid days off, team massages on site, staff giveaways, etc. We love to bless our students – however, it is equally important for them to see their teachers and those who serve them daily to be thanked, appreciated, and loved. This encourages an atmosphere of respect.
The entire staff of I.C.A. love to have fun with the students. They are wiling to dress up, participate in April Fool type jokes, play pool, compete in different challenges, or take time to sit and color with our Crusaders. Integrity is a place of education and a second home for its students. We strive to show students that no one is perfect and though we will fail each other or our community from time to time – as long as we communicate properly – those relationships can be mended and that brings unity within the walls of I.C.A. – as well as into our homes and community.
We value a ‘team’ partnership with the parents of Integrity. We have a group called, Parent Pillars. These are parents who meet to discuss, vote, and volunteer for different aspects of events both on and off campus. This encourages less assumption – and, more unity. The parents have t-shirts to wear to events or throughout community to show their children that their school is important to them. The team has always shared with our parents: “If school is important to you – it’ll be important to your children”.
The photos below show some of the staff having fun with students throughout then campus or at different special days at I.C.A. Thank you for visiting our website and our staff pray you and your family are blessed!
